Maria-belated light composition

I love to garden and my neighbor across the street is a professional landscaper with a beautiful garden. She has been gracious in giving me access to her wonderful plants during my exploration of light this week. All summer long I took pictures of flowers in varying light in my garden and now I am taking pictures of leaves in varying light in her garden. What I like about this picture: I like the pattern of lines in both of the leaves. I like how the light lights up the leaf on the left like a lantern but has a different effect on the right hand leaf by highlighting the lines. What I don't like: I'm not sure that the negative space at the lower right hand corner of the picture helps to support the composition. The upper tip of the leaf on the left is a little out of focus. The light on the right hand leaf might be a little too strong along the stem line.
