Andrea- Late Afternoon Light

This picture was taken in the late afternoon (4:30 p.m.) with the long rays of sunlight filtering through the trees. I used my 24-70 mm lens and it was set at f2.8, 1/160 with an ISO of 400 (no idea why the ISO was set so high!). I like the way the light is coming through the trees and falling on the grass and patio. I also like the vibrancy of the colors. If I were to do it again I would make sure the trees weren't coming off the top of my son's head and maybe take it at a bit of a lower angle to see more of the light. I would also lower the ISO since 400 was much higher than necessary.

  1. Thank you for sharing this photo on the blog. I think that the colors and the light are great in this photograph and it is a good example of how to take a candid action shot. I have learned shooting tips from reading your comment.
